Hamlet soliloquy

1. Hamlet's speech is a soliloquy because he is alone on stage and is talking about his feelings and thoughts of his father. He is depressed and is considering suicide. He is mad about the women marrying his uncle right after his fathers death.
2. Hamlet can't tell people how he really feels and he must "hold [his] tongue."(Hamlet, 28)
